Who is he ?


After having obtained a Master’s degree in Finance (Dess) from Toulouse University in France, I joined Dell Southern Europe in Montpellier in 1998. I had a rich and varied experience in this company with eight different jobs in 11 years carrier from business analyst to finance manager, online business manager and direct marketing manager to CRM marketing database manager for Europe. I was lucky to join Dell when the company was still a start up with important annual growth rates between 40% and 100%.

After spending several years in the CRM world, I decided to focus on social media to be right in the heart of customer conversations and to be more aware of their interests. New Internet tools (blog, forum, groups, social networks, video...) give anyone the possibility to exchange, discuss, criticize and share numerous topics and products. Not adapting internal processes to respond to customer needs is a huge mistake.

The social media world is fascinating because of its richness of subjects and its rapid evolution, which involves more than just having a Facebook or Twitter account. A good social media strategy will impact several departments such as Sales, Product marketing, Marketing, Logistic, Customer Service...

I've learnt a lot with the Social Media Academy leadership class provided by Axel Schultze.
